Maples Early Learning respects your privacy. We collect, use and protect personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the 13 Australian Privacy Principles and the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

This page explains how we handle information you give us through our website, our enquiry and waitlist forms, and our Facebook and Instagram ads.

Maples Early Learning runs early learning centres in Victoria through these companies:

What we collect when you enquire

When you fill in an enquiry, waitlist or tour form on our website, or an enquiry form in one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, we may collect:

• your name, mobile number and email address
• your child's name and date of birth
• the centre you are interested in and your preferred start date
• anything else you choose to tell us in your message

We collect more information at enrolment, such as health, immunisation and Child Care Subsidy details. Our enrolment pack explains that separately.

Why we collect it

We use your details to:

• reply to your enquiry and talk to you about care at Maples
• offer you a tour or a place, and manage our waitlist
• let you know about our centres, for example an opening date. You can ask us to stop at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who can see it

Your information is seen only by Maples staff who need it to respond to you. It is stored in the systems we use to run our centres, including our enrolment and waitlist system. If you enquire through a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta Platforms passes your answers to us. Meta's own privacy policy covers what Meta does with information on its apps.

We only share personal information with others when you have agreed to it or when the law requires it, for example with the Regulatory Authority or under Victoria's Child Information Sharing Scheme.

Our website and ads

Our website uses cookies and the Meta Pixel to understand how people use the site and to measure our advertising. You can control cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage your ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

How we protect it

We keep personal information secure. Our systems are password protected with access limited to authorised staff, our software is kept up to date, and paper records are kept locked away. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will tell the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you or to have it corrected. Contact us using the details below.
